The 2021 Volkl Mantra Junior is a great ski for confident intermediate junior level skiers who are looking to progress their skiing quickly and want a more freeride style ski. The Mantra Junior is similar to the adult ski in the sense that it can go anywhere tackling all kinds of conditions. The construction of the Mantra Junior is slightly different to the adult ski with the Junior being more flexible, softer and lighter to allow for easier skiing and natural progression for juniors. The camber profile with tip and tail rocker allows for smooth carving turns and a playfulness in a variety of conditions. The ski has a full sensor woodcore which provides more stability under the biding area allowing for powerful transitions between turns. For this ski we recommend a binding from the Marker family.
