Val Du Soleil was born in 2012 in the heart of Megève, a picturesque alpine village nestled in the Haute-Savoie region of southeastern France. Known for its luxurious ski resorts and timeless mountain charm, Megève is where elegance meets the extremes of nature — the perfect setting for a sun protection brand built to endure and inspire.
The idea for Val Du Soleil came from Élise Laurent, a former professional skier and skincare specialist. Having spent years on the slopes and under high-altitude sun, Élise saw firsthand the damaging effects of intense UV exposure on the skin. Frustrated by the lack of elegant, high-performance sun care that addressed both the altitude and the aesthetic, she set out to create something new — a sunscreen that merged technical excellence with the refinement of alpine life.
